 
 HISTORY
In 2008 a new book was published on Cliff May’s
work, Cliff May and The Modern Ranch House by Daniel P. Gregory (ISBN# 978-0-8478-3047-3). I communicated with Mr. Gregory
and he confirmed my home is a vintage Cliff May ranch house. In his beautiful book he talks about Cliff May’s
personal home, Cliff May #3. Pictures show it is a large X footprint and lives indoor/outdoors similar to the Red Bluff
house. He mentions the home is owned by actor Robert Wagner. In recent internet searching, I discovered Robert
Wagner sold the home (located in the Riviera Ranch Development, Brentwood, Ca) for an estimated 15 million dollars in 2007. More
recently, May 1, 2009, The LA Times reported that actors Ben Afflect and Jennifer Garner purchased a Cliff May home in Pacific
Palasades for $17.55 million dollars in April, 2009. The home was built in the 1930's and sits on 3+ acres. In addition to
the 5 bedroom and 8 bath main house, it also has a guest house, office, gym, and studio.
